Within the Fog<\/h3>\n

Beware the early morning\u2019s light <\/span>
\nThat illuminates the traveler\u2019s plight<\/span>
\nAnd shows the damned earth\u2019s blight<\/span>
\nThat plaques the traveler\u2019s road.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hide instead in the evening\u2019s blue<\/span>
\nWhere safety is falsely offered to<\/span>
\nThose who\u2019ve seen the world untrue<\/span>
\nAnd felt the cold wind blow.<\/span><\/p>\n

The light casts only false belief<\/span>
\nOf happiness within the grief<\/span>
\nAnd love is cast in funeral wreaths<\/span>
\nUpon the cold, cold ground.<\/span><\/p>\n

From the darkness rises truth<\/span>
\nOf who you are, the one real you<\/span>
\nAnd flaws and pain and hatred true<\/span>
\nDeep in your heart is found.<\/span><\/p>\n

For evil lurks within, my friend,<\/span>
\nAnd hatred hidden never ends<\/span>
\nThere is no monster greater than<\/span>
\nThe one hidden within the fog.<\/span><\/p>\n
