The moment you meet John A Riley, the co-creator of the ghostly world, you'll sense his otherworldly presence. As he confidently reaches to shake my hand, a wide smile shows a disconcerting set of vampiric canines.
There is something enigmatic and a magnetism that draws curiosity. He publishes stories under a variety of pen names and at each mention of their names, there's the impression we are not sitting alone anymore. Although you cannot see them, you know they are in the room.
A creator of fictional ghost stories dreadpunk creations for readers of all ages his short tales to chill and scare can be comic, sad, dark and weird revealing the eccentricities of lost characters set in their own ghostly realities. A world that may be contemporary or back to a Victorian era or beyond into the future, no doubt with hooded phantoms gliding towards you upon a spectral mist.
This earthbound soul is striving to work off karma and express all splinters from source in one lifetime. It leads me to think is the man here John A Riley or Jonathan Harker, Valentine Heart, Silas Crowley, Thomas Flyte, Victor or Victoria? I sense each one, but who is really sitting with me?
